The French Ambassador for Human Rights issued on this subject the following statement : Iran - Anti-Semitism (1 June 2016)
 
"France has learned with dismay of the holding of a competition of anti-Semitic and negationist cartoons organized in Tehran. Such incitement calls its deep disapproval. The publication of such cartoons in France is liable to criminal penalties." 
 
About the French winner 'Zeon' Masoud Shojaei Tabatabaei, Secretary of the Iranian contest said he can not use his real name because "that threatens the Zionist regime in France and could be punished with six months to six years prison ". Tabatabaei said also on the contest website: "The Zionists use their propaganda tools, and are investing heavily in [propaganda] for profit ... They are using the Holocaust as a pretext to plunder Palestinian land" .
 
Recently, Massoud Shojaei Tabatabaei reported that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, had telephoned him to tell him that the exhibition was a "great job". And emphasized : "We have not finished this is only the beginning of our main task"... Read more.
