Stop Boycott/Terrorists in suits - PFLP terrorist Samar Arabid who murdered Rina Shnerb, worked in a boycott promoting organization

Minister of Strategic Affairs Gilad Erdan: "This is definitive proof of the close connection between the BDS and terrorism. Boycott activists and terrorists are working on the same motives - the desire to eradicate the idea of the Jewish state. Everyone who gives a hand to the antisemitic BDS must understand today that he is helping supporters of terrorism".

A few days ago, the details of the investigation of the August 23 bombing at the Dani Spring that killed Rina Shnerb and injured her father and brother were released. The Ministry of Strategic Affairs confirmed that Samar Arabid, an operative of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization, who headed the squad that carried out the attack, worked as a member of the Palestinian boycott organization Addameer, which supports and promotes boycotts against the State of Israel. Arabid served at least until mid-2017, and his wife, Nora, has served as treasurer of the organization for the past two years.

In February 2019, the Ministry of Strategic Affairs published the “Terrorists in Suits” report that revealed more than 100 links between the designated terrorist groups; Hamas, PFLP and others, and delegitimization and boycott organizations. According to the report, the connection between the terrorist organizations and the BDS is part of the campaign to end Israel as a Jewish democratic state. In fact, the terrorist organizations are whitewashing their activities in the West, raising funds, holding policy meetings and gaining legitimacy through the use of civil society organizations in disguise that promote the BDS campaign.

One of the organizations listed in the report “Terrorists in Suits” is Addameer, of which Snerb’s killer Arabid is a member. Addameer was established by PFLP operatives and some of his staff were previously and presently charged with terrorist activities. Khalida Jarrar, senior representative of PFLP in the Judea and Samaria, served as chair of Addameer (2006-1993) and the deputy chairwoman of the executive committee and the general assembly (2017-2006) of the organization. Jarrar sat in administrative detention for a long time for her connections to terror organization and was recently released.

Addameer is strengthening his ties with the PFLP terrorist organization, which includes legal representation of terrorists accused of terrorism, some with a role in the organization, and joint campaigns to release terrorists.

It should be noted that on September 18, security forces raided the organization’s offices in Ramallah.
