#Crif - Press release : a heavy oblivion...

Thirty French Muslim personalities from the civil society signed an opinion in the Journal du Dimanche (JDD), in which they affirmed their commitment in the fight against radical Islam and for a reform of Islam in France.
This mobilization is beneficial and represents an important voice in the battle against isalmism, the Crif noted with much concern that, in a list of the recent victims of terrorist attacks (cartoonists in Charlie Hebdo attack, policemen on January Paris attacks, young people on November 13, families on July 14, christian priest in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray) the authors completely forgot the attack of the Hypercacher and its Jewish victims, as they forgot the attack against Ozar HaTorah school in Toulouse, in 2012.
This omission is of course an affront to the memory of the eight victims of these attacks, which have been targeted by terrorism because they were Jews. But moreover, this selective memory prevents from understandinf all the dimensions of Islamist terrorism, which France is facing today... Read more.
