#Israel70 - Israel is turning 70!

This week, the Yom Haatzmaut celebrations began throughout Israel and around the world. Israel is celebrating its 70th birthday and the world intends to celebrate this new decade as it should!
Yom Haatzmaut in Israel...
 
The whole country [Israel] started last night these festivities which will continue all day today. The City of Tel Aviv has proposed for the occasion, a luminous course called "the path of independence" to revive 10 major historical stages of the Declaration of Independence to the public with the help of animations projected on the facades of buildings.
 
In addition to the speeches of Israeli leaders, the traditional opening ceremony at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem was marked this year by a spectacular show in the form of a musical recounting the milestones of the 5000 years of the Jewish people, but also the 70 years of the Hebrew State.
While parties, fireworks, concerts and other popular balls have brought the country's towns and villages to life on Wednesday night, Thursday will be more dedicated to family barbecues and picnics.
 
Hundreds of thousands of Israelis are expected from Thursday morning in the national parks to admire the traditional military parade.
 
This one, composed of several types of planes and helicopters, will take place in all the country and will propose to an impressive air show to the Israelis. It will be followed by the awarding of the Medal of Excellence to soldiers and officers of the Israeli army. (Source: i24news)
 
...and in France !
 
4000km away, in France, Jewish institutions and associations have not been unworthy! They proposed cultural and festive events to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Israel. Crif, in partnership with KKL-JNF from France, organized a great evening of Yom Haatzamut in Paris.
 
The evening began with a tribute to the fallen Israeli soldiers for Yom Hazikaron. The Jewish youth movements of the FSJU, MJLF, EEIF, the Moadon Center and the DEJ participated in these moving commemorations.
 
Nachalat Yehuda's dance and singing band then opened the festive evening with traditional Israeli dances. Young and old have taken full eyes with these young smiling, visibly excited to celebrate their country with the French Jewish community.
 
French artists Antho, Alliel and Sharon then sang the most popular Israeli songs, rehearsed by the audience.
 
This evening of Yom Haatzmaut has kept its promises by offering a 100% Israeli show to an energetic and moving room, the beautiful French Jewish community.
