For Haim Musicant, there are some in France who seek to minimise anti-Semitic acts and make the relationship of solidarity between French Jews and Israel illegitimate. However, the General Director of CRIF called on the Jewish community to not isolate itself and to identify the allies who share its values in French society.
Claude Barouch and Haim Musicant agreed that this is a time for thought and unity, “leaving our egos in the cloakroom”, and that the situation needs to be analysed as it is, with a cool head, without underestimating it or dramatising it.
