CRIF General Director Haim Musicant introduced his business report with the following words: “In these turbulent days, we need a strong CRIF, a strong Jewish community, united while respecting its diversity, and proud of the values it defends.”
This General Assembly was the occasion to welcome Maccabi France into CRIF membership.
A few days later, Richard Prasquier was present at the reception organised by Maccabi France following the Maccabi European Congress, held for the first time in France, in the presence of Igal Carmi, President of the Maccabi World Union, and of representatives from Maccabi’s European chapters. A new Maccabi chapter, Kazakhstan, was welcomed into the organisation.
