CRIF SOUTH EAST INVITES MINISTER OF JUSTICE

The South East of France local section of CRIF, presided by Lawyer Martine Ouaknine, hosted French Minister of Justice for its annual dinner. Minister Dominique Perben highlighted the action of the French Government to combat anti-Semitism and all forms of intolerance.

"When French President Jacques Chirac appointed me as Minister of Justice in 2002, I did not think I would have to combat anti-Semitism," said Perben. "I thought this was something belonging to the past." "Anti-Semitism is not something relevant to the Jews only, this issue is a fundamental national issue relevant to all the French people," said Dominique Perben.
