Gérard COLLOMB, Minister of State, Minister of the Interior, expresses his indignation after the violent assault committed on Friday in Livry-Gargan against the members of a Jewish family. According to the first elements, the motivation for this cowardly act seems directly related to the religion of the victims.

The Minister of State, Minister of the Interior, wishes to express his deep support to the family and to the leaders of Jewish institutions in France. Every effort will be made to identify and challenge the perpetrators of this odious aggression. The Minister has full confidence in the services of the Prefecture of Police of Paris to carry out a determined action on this investigation
