CRIF MEETS NEW LEADER OF LEAGUE OF HUMAN RIGHTS

Roger Cukierman, President of the CRIF, accompanied by Haïm Musicant, its Director General, Ariel Goldman, member of the Executive Board, David Fuchs, member of the Steering Committee and Elisabeth Cohen-Tannoudji, representative, met with the new president of the League of Human Rights, Jean-Pierre Dubois, who was accompanied by Michel Tubiana, immediate past President and honorary president.




This meeting provided an opportunity to raise the issues of anti-Semitism, racism, and the interferences of the Middle Eastern conflict in the French domestic situation. Numerous points of agreement came out of the discussions, particularly with regard to the fight against discrimination and stereotypes.


Both CRIF and LHR committed themselves to pursuing their discussions on this last point.
