CRIF REGRETS DISMISSAL OF PAPON’S NEXT OF KIN

The grand daughter of Maurice Papon – the former Vichy official sentenced for complicity in crimes against humanity and released from detention for "health reasons" - has been dismissed from her post at the Ministry of War Veterans when here affiliation was disclosed by a daily newspaper and by groups of war veterans.


The CRIF regrets this dismissal and points out that the guilt of one individual cannot pass on to his or her next of kin.
