The name of Simone Serriere, a schoolmistress in Lasalle-Prunet, near Florac (Center of France), was given to a square of the village where she saved the lives of several Jews during WWII. Dr Richard Prasquier, President of YadVaShem-France and member of CRIF's Executive board, attended the ceremony.
