"Meet Israel's Future" is the theme of CRIF's next group tour to Israel. Organized in co-operation with France's United Jewish Appeal (AUJF) and France's United Jewish Social Fund (FSJU), hundreds of French Jews and non-Jews will travel next month to Israel.
The Jewish community in France is the most active in the world in terms of support tours to Israel. At the height of the second Intifada in November 2001, CRIF organized a trip to Jerusalem to show the support of the French Jews to the population of Israel.
CRIF CONGRATULATES LAWYER SERGE KLARSFELD
CRIF warmly congratulated Serge Klarsfeld's association "The Sons and Daughters of Jews Deported from France" (FFDJF) for their outstanding activity in the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the deportation of the Jews from France.
FFDJF organized public ceremonies in each city from where Jews were deported and published ads in the French daily "Le Monde" with the date of each convoy of deportees. FFDJF also organized in over twenty train stations, exhibitions on the fate of the deported Jewish children.
