YAHOO SUED FOR SELLING NAZI PARAPHERNALIA ON THE INTERNET

The Paris Court of Appeals said it was competent to try Timothy Koogle, ex-boss of Yahoo, in the case brought against the site for having allowed the sale of Nazi paraphernalia online.

The decision reversed a former judgement of a Paris lower Court. Yahoo's lawyer claimed the French courts were not competent to try an American company putting its content online from the United States. The Paris Court of Appeals stated otherwise. The Court will hear the case next October.
