The minister, addressing his hosts, gave a sweeping review of the problems facing Israel: Iran, relations with the Palestinians, Lebanon and Syria, relations with the US and with the EU, Jerusalem, demographic issues, Jewish identity, Alyah, and the recent so called Durban II conference held in Geneva.
Avigdor Lieberman also answered the many questions put to him. In the absence of its president, Richard Prasquier, on a visit to the US, the CRIF delegation was led by Meyer Habib, vice-president and Haim Musicant, general director.
