The former Member of the European Parliament discussed initiatives needed to be taken to give new impetus to a liaison group between CRIF and the PS, with special attention being given to training the new cadres of the PS, who are not necessarily as familiar as their elders with the history of Jews in France and the origins of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Benoït Hamon said he was available to work for the cause of peace in the Near East and to strengthen any dialogue that might contribute to that.
