“Jean-Marie Bockel gave us a very warm welcome. He is perfectly informed of the problems of deportation and oppressed minorities, and concerned by questions relating to the Holocaust and the Righteous, particularly because of his family connections, since a member of his family received the medal of the Righteous,” said Jacqueline Keller.
She continued, “We talked about the frequency of the ceremonies and whether or not some of them should be maintained, with the possibility of merging some together”. Other forms of passing on to the younger generations were also discussed at this meeting.
