CRIF and the Sublime House in Rouen

It is probably the only surviving Yeshiva in the world dating back to the Middle Ages.

The future of the Sublime House was discussed at a meeting between Jean-Pierre Allali, a member of CRIF’s Executive Committee and a member of the Board of the not for profit Association “La Maison Sublime”, Jacques Sylvain Klein, a delegate of the Association and author of the reference book “The Sublime House : the Rabbinical School and the Jewish Kingdom of Rouen” and a high level civil servant from the Ministry of Justice. Under the aegis of CRIF, an important delegation from Paris, led by President Richard Prasquier, officially visited the Sublime House on 19^th June 2008.
