The demilitarisation of such a State could be a guarantee that it would not become an instrument for terrorist movements supported by Iran, such as Hamas, who are dedicated to destroying Israel.
Israel is the state of the Jewish people. Its recognition as such is a necessary precondition for clearing away the ambiguities surrounding the return of refugees. It will open up hope for the peace between Israelis and Palestinians that CRIF has been hoping and praying for.
