The focus of the forum is to examine all forms of anti-Semitism and how to tackle the hatred expressed against Jewish people and Israel.
CRIF, the Centre for Research and Documentation on Anti-Semitism (CRDA) and the Jewish Community Protection Service (SPCJ) have recently published a brochure that includes a study by Valerie Levy-Noel, research director at CRDA on the pro-Palestinian demonstrations in January 2009, and a study on the anti-Zionist electoral list presented by French comedian Dieudonné for the European elections earlier this year. SPCJ’s statistics on anti-Semitic acts in France from 1 January to 30 September 2009 and an analysis of anti-Semitism prepared by CRIF complete this study. The publication also includes a long study by Marc Knobel, a CRIF researcher on the boycott, disinvestment and sanctions movement against Israel. The study focuses more particularly on the years 2002-2009.
