Leah Aharonov expressed a special interest in what CRIF is doing about Durban 2. She also expressed special appreciation for the JJAC campaign on behalf of Jews originating from Arab countries, a topic that is particular close to her heart.
Created in 1912, ICJW (International Council of Jewish Women) brings together two million members from 52 organisations representing 47 countries, among them the United States, France, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Japan, Ecuador and even Zimbabwe.
In France, it is the organisation Coopération Féminine, chaired by Evelyne Berdugo, which together with GLIF (Na’amat) represents the Council.
