Chirac: Difficult to change people’s stereotypes

The President of the Republic invited the members of the foundation to continue their efforts “because the French and the Israelis continue to be the victims of stereotypes that have taken root over many years and which it is difficult to change.” Tsipi Livni, Israel’s Foreign Affairs Minister, sent a message in which she recalled “[her] determination and that of the Israeli people in developing the links that exist between France and Israel.”
