The CRIF President said that he really did not understand why the Total chairman opposed sanctions against Iran on the nuclear issue on the grounds that they "would create additional tensions in the [oil] market." Roger Cukierman emphasised that Iran regularly asked for another State [Israel] to be removed from the map and that a mercenary vision of the Iranian nuclear crisis was against the declared principles of the group.
