CRIF has also “firmly condemned” a new case of arson against a mosque. On Sunday morning April 20th, the lobby of a mosque in the suburbs of Toulouse was damaged by a deliberate fire that was fortunately quickly put out by the emergency services; the small nearby ritual ablutions hall had also been ransacked. An official criminal enquiry has been opened for “destruction and deterioration by fire”.
