Four hundred people demonstrated their solidarity, in response to the Committee to Free Guilad Shalit. Meyer Habib, Vice President of CRIF, appealed to the Mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoë, a “great friend of Israel”, to placard the portrait of the young French Israeli citizen on Paris City Hall, as the Mayor of Paris’s 16th District had already done.
