At this meeting, which took place in the framework of long established regular relations between CRIF and the Egyptian representation in Paris, Richard Prasquier, President, Haim Musicant, General Director of CRIF, and their host discussed a wide range of subjects.
The President of CRIF referred to the candidacy of Faruk Hosni, the current Egyptian Minister of Culture, for the post of Director General of UNESCO.
CRIF has also met with the Jordanian ambassador, Dina Kawar. Nathalie Cohen-Beizerman, a member of CRIF’s executive board and president of Wizo, suggested that female representatives from Jordanian civil society could take part in the CRIF committee “Women in society” that she chairs.
