Jewish-Muslim Friendship France AJMF

AJMF, which “against an inward-looking community identity focus” is seeking to promote friendship between France’s Jews and Muslims in full mutual respect for each other’s convictions and specificities, in a communiqué signed jointly by its two presidents, Michel Serfaty and Djelloul Seddiki, and published following the murder of Ilan Halimi, took a strong stand “against the trivialisation of anti-Semitic, anti-Zionist and islamophobic language”.

We may also note that, for the first time in the history of the Paris Mosque, a rabbi, Michel Serfaty, was invited last March 7 to give a lecture on Judaism to the institution’s student imams.
