Meeting of the Jewish-Muslim Friendship Association

Both presidents, rabbi Michel Serfaty and Mr. Djelloul Seddiki disclosed the program of the association, including a large tour of France. Two keynote speakers, Dr. Dalil Boubakeur, head of the French Muslim Council and the historian Benjamin Stora, evoked the common Jewish-Muslim heritage. During the meeting, the Jewish participants were moved when a young Muslem student in theology wished them in perfect Hebrew "Berouhim Habaïm” (Welcome) and a few days before Passover a warm " Hag Sameah” (Have a Good Passover, in this case). CRIF was represented by Jean-Pierre Allali, member of the Executive board and vice-president of the Jewish-Muslim Friendship Association. In a message read by Jean-Pierre Allali, CRIF’s president Roger Cukierman expressed his full support to the work of the association, which constitutes “a perfect example and a source of hope and inspiration.”
