Interviewed by Christian media, he said that the securing of places of worship was “a sad but essential requirement”, recalling that “the waves of violence which reached a peak in 2003 and 2004 have left traces. Acts of aggression and the phenomenon of anti-Semitism persist.”
Referring to Jewish-Christian dialogue, he paid tribute to Cardinal Lustiger. Finally, denouncing the anti-Semitism of the Polish radio station Radio Maryja, Richard Prasquier said: “It is a very sad observation, but this is the consequence of Christian anti-Semitism. I find it repulsive to think that the European Union is supporting this radio.”
