The President of CRIF wished to be informed of the extent of possible cases of discrimination against Jewish persons because of their religious affiliation. It would seem that the Higher Authority receives almost no complaints of this kind.
Richard Prasquier raised the question of the prevention of discrimination phenomena and asked the President of HALDE about his action in this regard, particularly in the field of education. Louis Schweitzer underlined his determination to undertake an awareness-raising campaign to change attitudes and behaviours from the earliest days in school, while the President of CRIF insisted on the necessity of combining all efforts to make the fight against prejudices a priority.
