“There is no place in France for anti-Semites and haters of Islam. For those who refuse to understand, there will be zero tolerance,” said the President. “And as for those who are not French and who would seek to challenge these rules, no one will oblige them to stay here,” he warned. “France is an open country, honoured by all those it has welcomed for many generations and who have contributed so much, but we do not intend to change our republican model.”
