The Iranian threat: a source of concern for American Jewish organizations

This meeting was held as part of what have now become regular contacts between the two institutions, with meetings that have already been held both in New York and in Paris. The American visitors were able to listen to the analysis made by CRIF on the situation of Jews in France and in Israel, as well as on French foreign policy in the Near East. The question of the Iranian threat was deemed to be one of the central issues of concern at the present time. Elisabeth Cohen-Tannoudji, chargée de mission, organized this luncheon in the context of the ongoing relations between CRIF and American Jewish organizations.
