Eighteen parliamentarians and leaders from UMP are undertaking a study trip to the Near East, in the context of a visit under the initiative of AJC and in cooperation with Medbridge. The group, which has already met with King Abdallah and his Minister for Foreign Affairs in Amman, is lead by former minister François Fillon, who in a blog dated January 9, wrote the following: “May Ariel Sharon’s heart continue to beat for a solution to the most inextricable international problem of modern history.”
