The CRIF in action

The annual report of the SPJC shows a drop of 30% for 2007

It is pleased to note that anti-Semitic acts decreased by 30% compared with 2006.

It recognises the efforts made by successive governments since 2003 to achieve this decrease.

However, CRIF remains concerned: the number of anti-Semitic acts remains high, some of them are very violent, anti-Semitic stereotypes are becoming increasingly widespread, and all this shows that anti-Semitism has become structurally embedded in our country.

CRIF requests that government authorities keep up their efforts, particularly in the realm of education, so that this phenomenon can decrease and remain low.
