CEO of Air France, Alexandre de Juniac, answers to the President of the CRIF, Roger Cukierman

"I regret this malfunction that we corrected as soon as we have learned it."

Roger Cukierman wrote to the airline about Israeli towns not mentioned on his cards.
The CEO of Air France Alexandre de Juniac, answered:
"Mister President,
I received your letter in which you share your misunderstanding regarding flight tracking maps on which Israel and Tel Aviv do not appear.
Believe me, I regret this malfunction that we corrected as soon as we have learned it.
Of course, Air France never asked its supplier, the designer of these interactive maps integrated into the onboard entertainment systems, to include or withdraw a given geographical reference. Israel and Tel Aviv were normally mentioned (see three screenshots attached) but did not longer appear at a certain zoom scale.
It was actually a display data inconsistency that has since been resolved by our supplier.
We thank you for your understanding and thank you for your trust. Please accept, Mr. President, the expression of my devoted sentiments. "
