France bans 3 'radical' Islamic groups following November attacks

The groups were taking action to incite jihad, according to authorities.

France banned three Islamic associations that ran a mosque shuttered following the Nov. Paris attacks, interior minister Bernard Cazeneuve said Wednesday.
 
Stephane Le Foll, a government spokesman, said the groups were taking action to “incite jihad,” the AFP reports. “There is no place in the French Republic for groups which incite, and which call for terrorism or call for hate,” Cazeneuve said in his announcement... Read more.
