Meeting with African Ambassadors

Participants committed to continue the dialogue for mutual understanding.

On Monday, February the 1st 2016 Roger Cukierman met with ambassadors and representatives of African embassies with whom he discussed the issue of “living together” in France and in African countries, the teaching of the Holocaust and genocide prevention and the issue of security against threats from jihadist. 
 
Among those present were His Excellency Charles Gomis, ambassador of Ivory Coast, Jean Joseph Atangana, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of Cameroon who made a particular point on the threat posed by Boko Haram and His Excellency Nega T. Tessema Ambassador Ethiopia, whose country had the largest Jewish community in sub- Saharan Africa.
