Status of French people in Israel : the Elysee responded to Roger Cukierman

The French Israel will be clearly identified as 'residents of Israel'.

No more 'Israel / Palestinian territories'

"I was assured by the Elysee that the new IT system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was abandoned," wrote on his Twitter account the outgoing President of CRIF, Monday, June 6, 2016, adding: "The French people of Israel will be clearly identified as 'residents of Israel', not 'Israel / Palestinian territories'.
 "
The CRIF had learned that in the new Register, since 1 June 2016, French people living in Israel were appearing on official documents, with the word "Israel / Palestinian territories" as their country of residence. Roger Cukierman had contacted the Elysee about it.
