Strasbourg: CRIF reminds the city that boycott is illegal

A BDS attempt has been banned, thanks to the action of CRIF.

A BDS action was attempted during the “associations days” held in Strasbourg September 26 and 27, which regularly attract a very large crowd.
Alerted about this action taking place at the "Jewish-Arab collective and citizen for Palestine" stand, Pierre Lévy immediately contacted the first deputy mayor of Strasbourg, Alain Fontanel, to inform him and remind him that boycott is illegal.
Fontanel assured the regional representative of CRIF that the BDS action would be prohibited, and confirmed it to him by SMS the next day.
CRIF North Alsace will soon receive Alain Fontanel and ask him to work contract terms in order that these events remain apolitical and non-discriminatory.
